We Heard Your Feedback. Many New Features are Headed Your Way Soon.
What We Are
For more than 20 years, WebCAPE has saved the education industry millions of dollars by offering a reliable and affordable computer adaptive exam. Although the test was created to stand the test of time, we understand that the WebCAPE platform is due for an upgrade to keep up with the innovation offered by new technology.
What We Will Be
We recently asked what additional features would help to simplify and improve the overall experience with administering the exam. We have received your feedback and are happy to announce that a brand-new platform, WebCAPE 2.0, will be coming soon. This platform will not only have a new-and-improved look but will also include features such as a dashboard for administrators and test-takers, easy access to test results, simple survey customization, improved psychometrics, and more. While we understand certain features are important to some, but maybe not all, we will be offering customized packages that will adapt features and pricing to fit your need.
In addition to continuing the reading, writing, and grammar testing already in place, WebCAPE has recently teamed up with the TrueNorth Test to offer speech testing for an additional cost. If you would like to be contacted by a representative from TrueNorth for more information, please click here to be redirected to a survey.
What We Need From You
As much as we would love to simply click a button and transfer each of you to the new platform, we want this process to be as seamless and painless as possible. To maintain this, we will be contacting each institution directly with a tentative date within the next year or two of when we would like to make the transition for the institution. Depending on how quickly we are able to communicate, the process could be even faster. Once we have confirmed a date, we will send an email outlining the next steps to make the transition.
As we are in our final stage of development for the new platform, we need several institutions who are willing to test for user-friendliness and even more feedback on how to improve before we are ready to go live. If your institution is interested in being a part of this, please click here and you will be redirected to a survey.
We are sure that many will have questions regarding the new features offered with WebCAPE 2.0. The purpose of this post is to give a brief introduction. More information and examples of what to expect will be sent at a later time. We ask that you please be patient with us as we continue to organize and streamline the process.
That being said, we are always open to questions or additional feedback. Please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 801-471-0883.
